For Maths today, Room 18 have been building paper tents from the Figure It Out activity called, Inventing Tenting. Room 18 were able to work either alone, with a partner or in a small group to create their tent. This was super enjoyable, and was great to see different skills and strategies being used. Some chose to meticulously plan, some worked with paper folding and some got straight into cutting and taping. One question which arose was, how do you create a cone shape? Alucious was able to work out how to make a cone! In Room 18 we would love to hear your comments and questions about our learning. Room 18 will also be adding comments about how they made their tent. Hi this is Kaden and Beni and we made an awesome tent.we made a tent with paper,tape and some other materials.we added a fire a bin a triangle tent and some other details.We learnt how to be a good challenge taker and be a team player.What was challenging was to make our long triangle tent and add figure out what to add.
